Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This policy explains what information the Ghost Dimension website (ghostdimension.co.uk) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
This website is run by Ghost Dimension ("we", "us"). For anything about your information, email info@ghostdimension.co.uk or use our contact page.
What we collect and why
When you send us a message
If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, the topic you chose and your message. We use these only to read and reply to you.
- Your message is stored securely in our website's database and emailed to our team inbox so we see it quickly.
- We keep messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and delete old ones from time to time.
- To stop spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks you are a person and not a bot. Cloudflare may process technical details such as your IP address and browser information to do this.
When you join the newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter we collect your email address. We first send a confirmation email, and you are only added once you click the link in it.
- We use your email address only to send you Ghost Dimension news, episodes and the occasional offer from our official shop. We share one mailing list with our shop at ghostdimensionshop.com.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. Click it at any time and you will stop receiving emails.
- Our newsletter is sent using Resend, an email delivery service.
Visitor statistics
We count visits to understand which pages and episodes people enjoy. We do not use cookies, Google Analytics or any advertising trackers for this.
- We record the page visited, the website that sent you (for example a search engine), your country and which "watch" buttons are clicked.
- To count how many different people visit each day without identifying anyone, we create a scrambled code from your connection details that changes every day. It cannot be turned back into your IP address, and we cannot use it to recognise you on another day.
Server and security logs
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic browser details to deliver pages to you and protect the site from attacks.
Cookies
The public website does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. The only cookies we use are for our own admin login, which visitors never see.
Some pages include content from other services, which may set their own cookies under their own policies:
- YouTube videos, shown in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. On most pages the video only loads when you press play.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the fonts this site uses. Your browser fetches them from Google.
- Spreaker, for the podcast player, if you visit the podcast page.
When you follow a link to Prime Video, STV Player, YouTube, our shop or anywhere else, that website's own privacy policy applies.
Our lawful reasons
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) we rely on:
- Consent for the newsletter. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.
- Legitimate interests for replying to messages, keeping the site secure and counting visits in the privacy-friendly way described above.
Who we share information with
We never sell your information. We only share it with the services that help us run this website: Cloudflare (hosting, security and email delivery) and Resend (sending emails). Some of these services may process information outside the UK, under legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information
- stop sending you emails
Email info@ghostdimension.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Children
This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
